Overview

Our client is looking for a Service Technician / Engineer to join their dynamic team and play a critical role in deploying, maintaining, and supporting their cutting-edge robots. You will be responsible for commissioning robots at customer sites, providing training, servicing equipment, and ensuring optimal performance. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong customer-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and configure robots at new customer locations, ensuring high-quality performance and stable daily operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and provide onsite support to customers as needed.
• Responsible for diagnosing and resolving autonomy-related issues using a laptop.
• Train customers on proper usage and maintenance of robots, ensuring they are certified for operation.
• Address customer inquiries, diagnose malfunctions, and provide timely troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with internal teams (R&D, engineering, and manufacturing) to resolve technical issues, gather feedback, and contribute to continuous product improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in technical support or servicing, in robotics or automation.
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems
• Must possess strong technical skills and understanding of computer systems to efficiently troubleshoot and implement solutions.
• Ability to strong client relationships by delivering expert guidance and assistance.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high motivation.
• Willing to expand technical knowledge in robotics, automation, and service excellence.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a strong work ethic.
• Willing to travel for onsite support and deployments.
• Those with more years of experiences will be considered for the Engineer role.
• Class 3 driving license is a plus.
