Job summary

A leading engineering service provider in Singapore is seeking a skilled technician to conduct inspections, testing, repairs, and servicing of firefighting vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a Professional Certificate in Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. This role requires good teamwork skills, a positive work attitude, and the ability to produce comprehensive service reports. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• On-Site and Workshop Services: Conduct inspections, testing, installation, repairs, and servicing of firefighting vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair complex issues with firefighting vehicles, including electrical, mechanical, Can Bus system, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive service reports, including:
• Root cause analysis of problems
• Detailed repair information
• Parts used
• Submit reports and daily time sheets to the team leader/supervisor promptly.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other tasks as assigned by service management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate MUST possess at least Professional Certificate:
• Diploma Engineering (Automotive/Electronic/Mechatronic) or equivalent.
• Knowledge and experience:
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience are required. Training will be provided.
  • Willing to hands on & able to work as team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class 3 and 4 driving licenses (advantageous)
• Good working attitude and team player
