Job summary

A leading HR Advisory Firm in Singapore is seeking a Service Engineer to provide technical support on freight container handling equipment. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering and have at least 5 years of experience in heavy engineering equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, training, and providing feedback on-site issues. Salary ranges from $3,000 to $4,000.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years’ experience with container handling cranes or similar heavy engineering equipment.
• Good knowledge and experience in debugging PLC programs.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, troubleshooting, training & technical support on freight container handling equipment.
• Provide feedback to designers on issues found on site.
• Assist sales teams with compiling quotes.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, troubleshooting, on-site training & technical support on freight container handling equipment in ports in Asia, Australia, the Middle East and Africa.
• Provide feedback to designers and factory personnel on any issues found on site.
• Proposals for new features and enhancements on equipment in service & assist sales teams with compiling quotes.
• For the Middle East and Africa, the position is based in the United Arab Emirates with primary focus on the Port of Neom, Saudi Arabia.
• For Asia and Australia, the positions are based in Singapore.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent with 5 to 8 years’ experience with container handling cranes or similar heavy engineering equipment.
• Good knowledge and experience in debugging PLC programs, diagnostics and electrical & hydraulic controls & feedback.
