Job summary

A leading technology company in Singapore is seeking a technician to provide servicing on Multi-Function Devices. You will ensure the devices are operating optimally, resolve customer issues regarding connectivity, and demonstrate machine functions to users. The ideal candidate has a diploma in engineering or IT and at least 2 years of relevant experience in a technical field.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in technical field operation in office equipment.
• Intermediate knowledge in networking is required.
• Comfortable to travel extensively to customer locations island-wide.

Responsibilities

• Provide servicing on Multi-Function Devices as per service manual.
• Ensure all devices are in optimum working conditions.
• Resolve connectivity issues for customers.

Job description

• Provide servicing on customers’ Multi-Function Devices in accordance with the procedures indicated inside the service manual
• Take ownership of designated Multi-Function Devices and to ensure all Multi-Function Devices are in optimum working conditions
• Providing quality services during visits to ensure customers or users are delighted
• To provide resolution to customer when they encountered connectivity issues or unable to utilize the machine in their printing environment
• To undertake the role and responsibilities to ensure all installed machines with connectivity are properly installed and demonstrated to users on the use of the machine’s functions and connectivity matters
• Support team in technical support and solutions

Requirement

• At least a diploma or equivalent in engineering, IT, business or a related field is required.
• At least 2 years or more of relevant experience in technical field operation in office equipment with intermediate knowledge in networking
• Comfortable to travel extensively to customer location island wide
