Job summary

A technical consulting firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced technician to handle customer queries and provide technical support for HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential for resolving customer issues promptly. The role offers a Monday to Friday work schedule, with an emphasis on teamwork and leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of technical experience with knowledge in air-conditioning, chillers, ACMV or HVAC systems.
• Resourceful with good analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Possess Class 3 driving license will be an added advantage.

Job Description

• Attend to customer enquiries and complaints, including on-site calls
• Recommend preventive measures and provide prompt and effective resolution to technical problems
• Assuage dissatisfied customers with prompt resolutions for any product or service issues
• Provide guidance and technical assistance to service teams and sub-contractors on service assignments, testing and commissioning; verify and prepare payment to sub-contractors
• Remain actively involved in the implementation of department strategies and initiatives such as service value-chain businesses
• Update Service information system and follow up with all necessary paperwork diligently, timely and accurately for smooth operation of the department

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience with knowledge in air-conditioning, chillers, ACMV or HVAC systems.
• Resourceful with good analytical and interpersonal skills

• Good team player with ability to lead and multi-task
