A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Service Engineer to join a dynamic team in the Home Improvement Industry in Singapore. You will work closely with senior engineers, providing on-site technical support and ensuring excellent client service. Ideal candidates hold a Nitec/Diploma/Degree in Engineering and possess a Class 3 driving license. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, time management, and basic computer skills. Working hours are Monday to Friday (8.30 am to 6 pm) and Alternate Saturday (8.30 am to 1 pm).
Join our client's dynamic team in the Home Improvement Industry and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of residential properties. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior engineers, handle technical issues, and ensure excellent client service.
Collaborate with Engineers: Work alongside senior engineers to perform inspections and maintenance, diagnose faults, and troubleshoot issues.
On-Site Technical Support: Handle technical and engineering challenges directly on site, ensuring smooth operations.
Respond to Requests: Swiftly address maintenance requests and emergency repairs to minimize disruptions.
Report Preparation: Compile detailed reports on inspection outcomes and propose rectification plans.
Coordinate Repairs: Oversee repair work, ensuring timely execution and completion.
Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of all communications and transactions throughout the sales process.
Implement Safety Measures: Enforce risk control and safety protocols at all sites.
Client Support: Provide exceptional pre and post-sale support and service to clients.
Communication: Engage in excellent communication and customer service with clients and management,
Educational Background: Nitec/Diploma/Degree in Construction, Building, or Structures Engineering, or related disciplines.
Driving License: Must possess a Class 3 driving license and own transport.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to solve problems and pay attention to detail.
Time Management: Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Self-Motivation: Reliable, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Health and Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety standards in building maintenance.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for logging work and reporting are preferred.
Note: This role requires to work on Monday to Frida (8.30am to 6pm) and Alternate Saturday (8.30am to 1pm)
