Responsibilities

  • Have complete knowledge of beverages/service and preparation methods.
  • Be aware of hotel standards and policies.
  • Apply fire and life safety procedures.
  • Ensure personal grooming and conduct according to hotel standards.
  • Check schedule and ensure punctuality at work.
  • Monitor smooth operations of the section appointed.
  • Ensure service items are prepared according to standards.
  • Check quality and presentation of beverage/service.
  • Prepare mise-en-place before operations and replenish afterwards.
  • Check cleanliness of sections before and after service.
  • Ensure proper use and cleanliness of equipment.
Job description

We are looking for a Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Valley Wing!

Key Responsibilities
General Knowledge
  • To have complete knowledge on the beverage / service available / preparation methods and time in sections appointed.
  • To be aware of SLIM and Hotel standards and policies.
Fire & Life Safety
  • To be aware of and apply the procedures concerning hotel fire and life safety / emergency procedures.
Hygiene & Sanitation
  • To apply the necessary precautions with regards to the hotel food safety and hygiene standards
Operations
  • Ensures personal grooming and conduct according to hotel standards
  • Checks schedule and ensures punctuality at work
  • Monitors and ensures smooth operations of the section appointed (restaurant / beverage)
  • Ensures that service / items are prepared according to hotel minimum standards and standard procedures
  • Checks quality / presentation / temperature of beverage / service prior to serving
  • Ensures fill mise-en-place is prepared prior to start of operations and replenished afterwards
  • Checks cleanliness of sections prior to and after service.
  • Ensures that all materials, equipment and machinery are properly used and regularly cleaned, in order to prolong usage.
Others
  • Conducts day to day business and internal/external relations with the code of conduct in mind and on the basis of the Guiding Principles and in the spirit of a Heartwarming Family.
  • Carries out other special projects/tasks assigned by supervisors
  • Wherever and whenever necessary, liaises with colleagues on aspects of the job which will be helpful to all concerned
