Based in Singapore, this would be a global role, leading the CX pillar of a multifunctional team based in multiple locations across Asia, EMEA, LATAM and USAC.
Key roles and responsibilities will include working closely with other senior pillar leads within the client team to define new and optimise existing ways of working and technologies to enhance productivity and quality of output.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for strategising, planning and leading the deployment of global client UX initiatives, such as creating modular design and content libraries to support modular design and developing flexible templates to further boost automation efficiencies
- Oversee and lead any projects with specific UX requirements
- Hands on working on global proof of concepts and pilots before handing off responsibilities to the existing global team of designers
- Review current ways of working and oversee adoption of enhanced ways of working
- Ensure clear documentation of enhancements to processes, cascade to all relevant team members, and ongoing maintenance and upkeep of documentation
- Work closely with senior agency team members – Head of Digital, Creative Director, Delivery Director, Automation Director, Operations Director and Global Managing Director – to deliver tailored solutions and enhanced services to our partner
- Close liaison with senior client stakeholders and leaders, regularly presenting status updates and progress reports
Leadership and Mentoring
- Accountable for the global rollout of process and technologies once defined and documented
- Train all designers (and other relevant roles) within the global team across multiple time zones to adopt new technologies optimally
- Inspire and motivate teams to use UX and design thinking in their approach to briefs and problems
- Provide assistance and support to the wider team on UX matters and projects whenever necessary
Business Understanding
- Build in-depth knowledge of client’s people, process and platforms; understand what can be changed and the parameters that must be worked within
- Run requirement gathering workshops to understand client business objectives and current blockers
- Translate complex technical and business requirements into actionable insights and initiatives
- Assist with clarification and prioritisation of enhancement ideas
Global Working and Time Management
- The role is global, requiring occasional after‑hours and early‑morning video conferences; flexibility and strong time‑management skills are expected to avoid burnout and excessively long working hours
- Balance own time, starting work later the following morning or taking time in lieu to maintain a healthy work‑life balance
Line Management
- Report to and work closely with the client’s Creative Director, based in Singapore
- Oversee a limited number of junior direct team members, accountable for their development and professional welfare
What you need to be great in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 6 years combined experience as an information architect and/or user experience architect
- Minimum 4 years’ hands‑on experience with UX wireframing software
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with Photoshop or InDesign to support prototype creation
- Good technical knowledge and working knowledge of HTML, CSS, etc.; important but not essential
- Ability to make recommendations and present complex information to non‑technical audiences
- Ability to thrive within a fast‑paced, changing environment
- Strong time‑management skills and self‑direction
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- E‑Commerce experience with focus on product data
- Experience creating solutions for international audiences, including delivering regional and/or global projects and initiatives
- Experience delivering B2B and B2C projects and initiatives
- Creative thinker with a passion for visual storytelling
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Eagerness to explore new technologies and push creative boundaries
