Job description

You will lead technical engineering activities that keep our manufacturing site reliable, safe and inspection ready. You will work closely with operators, project teams and external suppliers. Responsibilities

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Lead engineering execution for equipment maintenance, modifications and capital projects from planning through handover.
  • Troubleshoot complex equipment and utility issues and drive timely root cause and corrective actions.
  • Ensure commissioning and qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) are executed and documented to standard.
  • Manage contractors and suppliers to deliver safe, on-time and on-budget work.
  • Coach and develop junior engineers and technicians to build capability and resilience in the team.
  • Support compliance and audit readiness by maintaining engineering standards, records and CAPA closure.
Basic Qualification
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of technical engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in biological manufacturing industry
  • Practical experience with equipment maintenance, commissioning and qualification.
  • Experience managing contractors and coordinating cross-functional work.
  • Working knowledge of relevant safety and quality standards for manufacturing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and clear written and verbal communication.
Preferred Qualification
  • Familiarity with Good Engineering Practice and Good Manufacturing Practice.
  • Experience with SAP or other maintenance management systems.
  • Project management experience delivering small to medium capital projects.
  • Track record of leading continuous improvement or reliability programs.
  • Experience coaching and developing technical teams.
