Our client, a well-established and leading MNC in the sector they operate in, is currently looking for a dynamic Senior Tax Executive to join their growing team. This role is crucial in supporting their tax team to manage compliance and reporting for their group's tax matters. You will have the opportunity to engage with various business functions and external partners, contributing to the efficient operation of their global financial and tax strategy.

About the job

Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will be responsible for a range of tax compliance and advisory tasks. A key part of your role involves preparing, reviewing, and validating transfer pricing documentation, such as the Local File, Master File, and Country-by-Country Reporting, ensuring all documents are accurate and consistent with the Group's policies and financial data. You will work closely with internal teams like accounting and treasury, as well as external tax agents, to ensure timely and accurate tax filings. Additionally, you\'ll assist with Singapore Corporate Income Tax compliance and withholding tax filings. The role also involves responding to queries from tax authorities and consultants, and providing support on ad-hoc projects such as cross-border transactions and mergers and acquisitions. You will also be tasked with preparing the Singapore Related Party Transaction Form.

Qualifications

Skills and experience required

• Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation.
• Relevant years of experience in tax, with exposure to either an industry or accounting/audit-related function.
• Fundamental knowledge of Singapore\'s Transfer Pricing regulations is essential.
• Basic knowledge of Singapore\'s CIT, GST, and withholding tax is also required.
• Experience with tax preparation, computation, and transfer pricing documentation is highly desirable.
• Prior experience with ERP systems like SAP, or from a Big 4 firm or a multinational corporation\'s tax department, would be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills and be a proactive, collaborative team player in a dynamic work environment.
