Job summary

A leading offshore engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to lead engineering design work and coordinate with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in civil or marine engineering and have at least 5 years of experience in structural design for offshore or civil projects. Familiarity with Staadpro or Tekla, and knowledge of design codes related to aluminium and offshore structures are advantageous. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of structural design experience in offshore or civil engineering.
• Familiarity with international aluminium and offshore structure design codes is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project engineering design work.
• Liaise with clients, vendors and third parties on technical discussions and document submission.
• Coordinate with project team on the project planning and execution.
• Supervise and check the design drawings, material take-off and shop drawings.
• Perform structural analysis and prepare structural analysis report.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil/marine engineering / naval architecture
• Min. 5 years of structural design experience in offshore or civil engineering
• Being Familiar with international aluminium and/or offshore structure design codes and standards to be an advantage.
• Knowledge in Staadpro/Tekla to be an advantage.
• An effective team player, problem solver and self-motivated
• Good written and spoken English.
