Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee construction activities, including planning and monitoring work. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering and has a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, with specific expertise in LTA underground or MRT projects. This role requires strong project management skills and technical problem-solving abilities, with a 6-day work week from 7:30 am to 6 pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' working experience in LTA underground or MRT project.
• Experience with D/wall, Bored Piling, and Tunnel Structure.

Job description

Main Duties

• Oversee the construction activities and progress, plan, implement and monitor work
• Schedule in accordance to the master and detailed work program
• Liaise with Professional Engineer on the Temporary works
• Liaise with consultants (QPS) for technical issues and coordinate the site activities with subcontractors
• Handle of technical and engineering problems
• Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule,
• Maintain quality standards, carry out site inspections and resolve technical issues on time
• Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
• Manage and control workers and monitor their work closely to keep site safer and neat
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in civil works
• Minimum 2 years' working experience in LTA underground or MRT project
• Experience in managing D/wall, Bored Piling, Bulk Excavagtion and Tunnel Struture (Rebar, Concrete), Drain construction
• Experience with both dry (Telecom, Power, Gas) and wet (Raw water, Potable Water) utilities and traffic diversion
• Experience with LTA project and main contractor experience highly preferred
• More experienced candidates may be offered the position of Senior Site Engineer.
• 6 days work week 7.30am-6pm
