Job Summary

Assists the Construction Manager in project planning and overseeing specific works on site.

Essential Job Functions
  • The Senior Site Engineer is responsible, but not limited to, the following:
  • Assist Construction Manager of overall planning functions, including project schedules and progress tracking.
  • Monitor the daily progress of work-on-site, identifying potential delays or issues and implementing necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
  • Maintain and update all project schedules regularly, collecting actual data such as progress status and manpower allocation.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly progress reports for in-house, owner, and consultant submissions, highlighting key achievements and milestones.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify potential risks or challenges and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Resolve discrepancies and coordinate site-related technical problems encountered.
  • Any ad-hoc duties as per assigned by Construction Manager/ General Manager/ Project Director.
Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience
  • Minimum 6 years’ engineering experience with a Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or qualification / Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the SO.
  • At least 4 years’ experience in planning, coordinating and managing construction works / teams for infrastructure projects.
  • Prior experience in working in construction site, especially in Civil Projects.
