Job Summary
Assists the Construction Manager in project planning and overseeing specific works on site.
Essential Job Functions
- The Senior Site Engineer is responsible, but not limited to, the following:
- Assist Construction Manager of overall planning functions, including project schedules and progress tracking.
- Monitor the daily progress of work-on-site, identifying potential delays or issues and implementing necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
- Maintain and update all project schedules regularly, collecting actual data such as progress status and manpower allocation.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly progress reports for in-house, owner, and consultant submissions, highlighting key achievements and milestones.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify potential risks or challenges and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
- Resolve discrepancies and coordinate site-related technical problems encountered.
- Any ad-hoc duties as per assigned by Construction Manager/ General Manager/ Project Director.
Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience
- Minimum 6 years’ engineering experience with a Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or qualification / Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the SO.
- At least 4 years’ experience in planning, coordinating and managing construction works / teams for infrastructure projects.
- Prior experience in working in construction site, especially in Civil Projects.
