Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The Senior Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively manage a team of site engineers, supervisors, and construction workers.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules and targets as required.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with specifications, codes, and standards.

Site Supervision:

  • Oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Technical Guidance:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to site engineers and construction teams.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Ensure accurate implementation of construction designs and plans.

Quality Control:

  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of construction.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of materials and workmanship.
  • Address any non-conformance issues promptly and effectively.

Budget and Cost Control:

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
  • Monitor and control project expenses to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
  • Report on financial performance and progress to senior management.

Health and Safety:

Communication and Coordination:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Facilitate effective communication between all project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and documentation.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience:
