Job Summary

Reporting to Cluster Security Manager, the Senior Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, colleagues, and property. You will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, handling security incidents, and coordinating with law enforcement when necessary. Your vigilance, professionalism, and ability to respond swiftly to security concerns will help maintain the world-class standards of Raffles Sentosa.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Patrol the lobby, guest room corridors, back-of-house areas, public spaces, and hotel surroundings to identify any suspicious activities or unattended belongings.
  • Conduct investigations and keep hotel management informed about security incidents such as theft, loss, and accidents.
  • Assist the Duty Manager in investigating irregularities in guest rooms and public areas when required.
  • Ensure a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and victimization for all employees.
  • Maintain accurate records of significant security incidents and activities during each shift.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies for crime investigations and guest-related incidents.
  • Ensure the Security Checkpoint/Office is always manned, clean, and presentable.
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:
  • Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a similar capacity, with a proven track record.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
  • Security-related certification is required.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
