We are partnering with a leading global energy infrastructure player to appoint a Senior Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, strategic accounts, and market expansion across petroleum, oil & gas, and petrochemical products. This role offers regional exposure, commercial ownership, and the opportunity to shape long-term customer and investment strategy.

Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth & Commercial Performance
    • Own and drive revenue and profitability performance for the assigned product and market portfolio, ensuring delivery against commercial targets.
    • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and convert these insights into value-adding commercial solutions and service offerings.
    • Identify, pursue, and secure new customer opportunities and market segments to support sustainable growth.
    • Design and execute integrated sales and marketing strategies to expand wallet share, strengthen customer retention, and increase market penetration.
    • Conduct rigorous commercial and financial analysis of contracts, including revenue modeling, fair market value assessment, and evaluation of commercial and business risks.
    • Lead commercial negotiations and manage the end-to-end preparation of proposals and contracts, optimizing pricing structures and value creation.
    • Contribute to business development initiatives, including expansion projects and capital investment proposals.
    • Collaborate closely with internal account owners and commercial teams across the regional and global network to ensure alignment and cross-selling opportunities.
    • Ensure consistent application of the company’s sales methodology, governance framework, and commercial policies.
    • Support revenue forecasting, investment planning, and periodic budgeting cycles with accurate commercial inputs.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, acting as a trusted commercial partner.
    • Drive customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention through proactive engagement and continuous service improvement initiatives.
    • Represent customer interests internally, working closely with Operations and Customer Service teams to ensure service delivery excellence.
    • Partner with Finance to manage customer credit exposure, payment terms, and accounts receivable.
    • Oversee complaint management and dispute resolution, ensuring timely and commercially sound outcomes for the assigned customer portfolio.
  • Market & Commercial Intelligence
    • Develop a strong understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive positioning within the assigned product and market scope.
    • Leverage internal and external market intelligence sources to generate actionable insights on customers, competitors, and industry trends.
    • Assess growth opportunities, expansion potential, and competitive risks to support strategic decision-making.
    • Monitor and report on commercial performance, identifying trends, risks, and improvement areas.
    • Maintain high data integrity within CRM and commercial databases, ensuring accurate and timely capture of customer, market, and opportunity information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of financial and contractual principles.
  • 5-10 years of commercial, sales, or business development experience within the petroleum, oil & gas, petrochemical, or related industries.
  • Proven experience managing international and/or multinational customer relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of local market dynamics and regulatory frameworks within the petroleum and petrochemical sectors.
