Job summary

A leading global Risk Services provider is seeking an experienced sales executive in Singapore to drive sales within the APAC region. The successful candidate will implement territory plans, identify and close opportunities, and manage relationships with C-level clients. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in selling complex SaaS/cloud solutions and hold a Master's degree. An entrepreneurial mindset and fluency in English are required. Some travel within APAC is expected.

About the role

Swiss Re is launching a ground‑breaking Risk Data & Services (RDS) platform for corporates with the goal of delivering outstanding risk insights and services to our corporate customers using a broad array of risk data and advanced analytics. We are looking for an experienced sales executive to work with corporates across APAC, building and scaling our business by winning new clients in the region.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales in a defined APAC territory.
  • Implement a territory plan to exceed sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify, develop, and close new opportunities with the right customer stakeholders.
  • Handle C‑level relationships within the region’s risk management ecosystem.
  • Strategize independently and collaboratively to solve deal‑level challenges.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Define sales forecasts, continually improve our commercial proposition, professionalise business case creation, identify scalable market opportunities, and drive a clear value proposition to market.
  • Ensure the voice of the customer is heard and fed back to product management.
  • Lead client‑facing activities, ensuring two‑way communication and alignment to business strategy/goals and the needs of the business sponsor.
About you

We are looking for someone who brings a forward‑thinking, intellectually curious approach to everything they do. You should be motivated by a fast‑changing entrepreneurial work environment with a positive team‑to‑win attitude, comfortable developing your own go‑to‑market approach to progress sales pipelines, and skilled in presenting complex topics in an impactful way.

Required
  • At least 5 years of experience selling large, complex enterprise‑grade SaaS/AI/cloud platform solutions within a vertical space.
  • Consistent record of landing new SaaS/Platform/Cloud platform services and evidence of winning strategic first deals in a competitive environment.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional deal teams with client management, solution experts, and external partners to close new business.
  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Fluent or native business English.
Preferred
  • Additional language from the APAC region.
  • Understanding of the APAC commercial risk market, or insights on climate risk, supply chain risk, or property risk.

The role will require some travel within the APAC region, not expected to exceed 30%.
