About the Role

As a Radiation Therapist, you will integrate theoretical and clinical knowledge, technical competence and patient interaction skills to provide safe and accurate radiation treatment with compassion. You will be working with a multidisciplinary team of Radiation Oncologist, Medical Physicist, Medical Dosimetrist and Oncology Nurses within Division of Radiation Oncology to deliver the best care for patients undergoing Radiation Treatment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate radiation treatment through proper operation of radiotherapy and ancillary equipment by observing radiation safety measures and practice standards.
  • Provides good individual patients' care and services with regards to routine radiotherapy and pre-treatment procedures.
  • Perform daily quality assurance checks and ensure that treatment machines, accessories and other supportive equipment are in good working order.
  • Assist and work with senior radiation therapists/ dosimetrists in the area of fabrication of immobilization devices and treatment accessories, CT-simulation, treatment planning, external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy.
  • Participate in quality improvement in enhancing treatment techniques and workflow and participate actively in continuous education and self-development.
