Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong expertise in Electrical and Mechanical trades. The candidate will manage tender submissions, analyze technical requirements, and prepare cost estimates. A diploma in a related field and at least 8 years of experience is required. This role demands excellent project management skills and the ability to adapt to multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Analyze tender documents and identify project scope and technical requirements
• Source and evaluate quotations according to project specifications
• Manage tender queries and clarifications with vendors and clients
• Perform quantity take-offs for Mechanical and Electrical systems
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for tender submissions
• Review contract terms and conditions with clients and vendors
• Prepare presentation slides and technical proposals for client meetings and tender submissions
• Consolidate and update tender invitations from clients
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Manage multiple tender submissions and adapt to transitions between divisions

Requirements:

• At least Diploma in Quantity Surveying/ Mechanical/ Electrical or related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a QS in Electrical and/or Mechanical trades
• Prior experience working with M&E Contractors is an advanatge
• Experienced QS with a strong background in Electrical and Mechanical trades
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
