Job description

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to help us build software development toolchain for quantum computing.

You will own the productisation of our technology into the product offerings for different users and develop and execute on the product strategy and technical roadmap for our products.

You will work closely with our science, engineering, design, commercial operations, marketing and finance teams to ensure the successful implementation, integration and go‑to‑market strategy of our current and future product with partners and users.

You should have excellent product sense, design thinking, strategic problem solving, and communication skills.

Quantum Computing experience is not necessary but a strong interest and willingness to learn is essential for success in the role.

The successful candidate will join a fast‑growing team covering product and engineering for our different product lines, including an integrated developer environment and compiler toolchain, and will help to shape the future direction of the company and its products.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the long and short term product strategy, roadmap, business model, go‑to‑market strategies, in collaboration with the leadership of our science, engineering, design, commercial operations and marketing teams.
  • Own the productisation of our technology into product offerings for different users.
  • Develop our compiler toolchain, cloud infrastructure and operating system line of products.
  • Translate our technology into user‑centric products, break down complex problems into steps for product development.
  • Align research/technical teams with business stakeholders and market needs.
  • Identify and prioritise product features, and contribute to the strategy of our product offerings based on users’ needs and feedback.
  • Manage the full life cycle for our products, and drive action throughout the team to get products to market.
  • Prioritise product features and keep product development on track.
  • Develop product go‑to‑market strategy in collaboration with the commercial operations, marketing and finance teams.
  • Act as an evangelist for company products.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, a related field, or an equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in product management or an equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience in building and shipping technical products.
  • Experience in delivering product and engineering results of varied complexity and scale, and a demonstrated track record of implementation.
  • Experience in managing technical and design direction.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
  • High ownership and responsibility.
  • Continuous learner.
  • User‑focused, strategic and analytical mindset.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience building SaaS products, or developing or launching software developer tools.
