Responsibilities

• Develop new suppliers for fabrication and structure of semiconductor or automation equipment, including precision machining parts, enclosures, sheet-metal, and structural components.
• Assess existing suppliers’ performance, capacity, and capability; create re-alignment strategies to meet current and future growth requirements.
• Develop cost reduction programs for existing and new suppliers on a periodic basis.
• Share experience and expertise to strengthen colleagues’ competency.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement for the semiconductor equipment industry.
• Exposure to ERP systems and MS Office applications.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• High standards of integrity and professionalism.
