Job description

Role: Senior Platform Engineer (AWS & DevOps)
Location: Singapore

We are partnering with a leading telecom client to hire a Senior Platform Engineer. They will lead a small team of junior engineers to build and operate a unified internal platform (Backstage developer portal + feature‑flag/experimentation services). The role enables self‑service infrastructure, safe feature releases, and a paved‑road approach, embedding automation, security, compliance, observability, and cost controls from day one.

• Experience in medium‑to‑large technology or financial services organizations with complex cloud‑native environments and multiple engineering teams; exposure to enterprise‑grade developer platforms or internal tooling initiatives.
• Have 8+ years of experience in platform engineering or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in AWS (EKS, RDS, ElastiCache, IAM, VPC, observability), container orchestration, IaC/CaC, and platform automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Backstage or similar developer portals and feature‑flag/experimentation platforms (GrowthBook, LaunchDarkly, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with security/compliance standards (MAS‑TRM, CSA).
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps‑related certifications are a plus.
