Job description

We're seeking an Senior Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve manufacturing processes, support shopfloor problem-solving, and drive productivity and quality initiatives. Requires an Engineering degree and 5+ years’ experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing.

Responsibilities
  • Establish manufacturing procedures and proper documentation control.
  • Build new Manufacturing Job Instruction Sheets (JIS), NC program, and Tool/Gauge plan with Siemens NX.
  • Initiate productivity improvement activities including equipment/fixture selection, design and deployment.
  • Resolve technical issues relating to internal and external customers' feedback
  • Perform feasibility studies in the manufacturing capacity improvement, layout improvements and expansion.
  • Initiate continuous improvement activities to existing manufacturing system and its related processes.
  • Participate actively in company-wide productivity and quality programs.
  • Put up justification for capital expenditure (CAPEX).
  • Shopfloor Support – Andon Rectification, SRR/PPM Reduction, Real Time Problem Resolution, Machine Utilization
  • Transition Project
  • Business Units New Product Development
  • Incorporating Engineering Change
  • Non Product Improvement Support (Toolings/Expenses)
Qualification & Requirement
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline (Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Material).
  • At least 5 years of experiences in relevant skills, industry(precision manufacturing, aerospace related industry)
  • Demonstrate high level of attention to details.
  • Ability to be Flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to analyze information and quickly solve problems.
  • Experience with metrology standards and equipment.
  • Basic MS Excel, Word skills.
