Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Tax Consulting Senior Manager / Manager to join our Financial Services (FS) Tax Consulting team. This role is ideal for a tax professional with a strong background in corporate tax consulting, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering innovative tax solutions to clients in the financial services e.g. banking, insurance sectors.

The successful candidate will be:
  • Lead and manage tax advisory engagements for clients in the financial services industry e.g. banking and insurance on complex tax matters including mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, corporate restructuring, IPOs, tax due diligence, tax rulings, and incentives.
  • Identify and develop tax planning strategies tailored to the unique needs of Financial Services (FS) clients.
  • Provide strategic advice aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive business development initiatives, including client pitches, proposals, and participation in industry events.
  • Collaborate with the wider Tax Consulting, Audit and Advisory teams to deliver integrated solutions and develop cohesive go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
  • Stay abreast of emerging tax developments, including BEPS 2.0, and assess their impact on FS clients.
The ideal candidate should:
  • Possess minimum 7 years of corporate/international tax experience in financial services sector
  • Possess a University degree and/or post-graduate qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or Law; SIATP accreditation will be an added advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Singapore and international tax regulations, including BEPS 2.0.
  • Have an outward-looking, people-oriented personality with great communication skills as well as an analytical mind, leadership qualities and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Highly driven with a proactive approach to client service and a strong track record in delivering innovative, business-focused tax solutions
