We are looking for a forward-thinking Facilities Development Manager to lead the transformation, upgrade, and optimization of our facilities.
This role combines strategic vision, operational excellence, and team leadership to ensure facilities are future‑ready, sustainable, and highly efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee facility development projects from concept through completion, managing approvals, procurement, scheduling, and quality control with a focus on innovation and operational excellence.
- Drive operational readiness and preventive maintenance, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day facility operations while anticipating future needs.
- Ensure all projects and operations comply with building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards, championing a culture of safe and responsible practices.
- Lead initiatives in energy efficiency, smart building systems, and long‑term asset management, leveraging technology and innovative solutions.
- Prepare and present clear, insightful reports and updates to senior management and key stakeholders, translating complex project details into actionable insights.
- Collaborate across departments—including engineering, operations, housekeeping, and F&B—to support continuous facility improvement and operational enhancements.
- Mentor and inspire facilities teams and external suppliers, cultivating a high‑performance culture and ensuring timely, high‑quality project delivery.
- Identify opportunities to modernize systems, optimize workflows, and implement sustainable practices across the facilities portfolio.
Requirements
- A proven track record of 7+ years in facilities development and management
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields.
- Certifications in sustainability, fire safety, or green building standards are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive complex projects to successful completion.
- Strong project management skills with experience handling multiple concurrent projects and balancing competing priorities.
- Strategic thinker with a visionary mindset, able to anticipate challenges, propose innovative solutions, and implement forward‑looking facilities initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting ideas and influencing decision‑making at all organizational levels.
