Job description

Our client is an international corporate services firm is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Secretarial Services (APAC) to join its regional team supporting one of the world’s largest global asset managers. This position is a secondment role, where you will manage company secretarial operations and ensure strong governance and compliance standards across the client’s APAC entities, including investment holding companies and SPVs.

You’ll work closely with both the client’s corporate governance team and the firm’s internal leadership to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services. The ideal candidate is someone who can build trusted relationships, manage multiple stakeholders, and maintain operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the delivery of company secretarial services across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance standards.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the client and the firm’s internal teams, managing expectations and timelines.
  • Collaborate with senior management, deal accountants, legal teams, auditors, tax agents, and other stakeholders.
  • Support the setup and incorporation of new entities, including KYC and onboarding documentation.
  • Coordinate and facilitate board meetings—manage scheduling, logistics, board pack preparation, and meeting minutes.
  • Ensure timely completion of statutory filings and maintenance of corporate records.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring systems to track ongoing compliance and project progress.
  • Provide process improvement feedback and guidance to enhance efficiency within the secretarial function.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in company secretarial or corporate governance roles, ideally within a multinational or APAC context.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and statutory requirements across different jurisdictions.
  • Experience working with investment management or financial services clients.
  • Familiarity with entity onboarding, KYC, and regulatory submissions.
  • Previous exposure to board-level interactions and governance reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
