Job summary

A leading general insurer in Singapore is seeking a professional to drive profitable growth and develop business through brokers. This role involves maintaining customer relations, managing broker schemes, monitoring underwriting trends, and ensuring compliance with guidelines. A tertiary qualification and operational experience in the insurance industry are essential. The ideal candidate should excel in marketing, relationship building, and possess underwriting knowledge. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the profitable growth and development of business through brokers.
  • Maintain and develop customer relations.
  • Develop and manage Broker schemes.
  • Monitor underwriting trends and results.
  • Ensure risks are accepted and underwritten in accordance with the Company's guidelines.
  • Undertake credit control ensuring standards for debtor days are adhered to.
  • Provide a technical reference point for queries.
  • Ensure maximum efficiency in work processes within the department.
  • Provide guidance and training for staff & teambuilding.
  • Undertake any other duties as may be assigned.
