Job description
JOB PURPOSE

Senior Logistics Analyst, is responsible for the end to end logistics operations, coordinating with stakeholders and Logistics service provider (LSP) to ensure timely, accurate and cost-efficient delivery.

Oversee import and export operations, and to improve processes, reduce cost and enhance operational efficiencies. Makes recommendations to delivery strategy in response to cost analyses, works to reduce overall DTW costs. Ensure that the logistics operations are at optimum efficiency and stay within budgetary constraints.

Manages LSP performance including import, export, goods receipt/issue and EDI accuracy while ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.

Collaborate with LSPs and cross functional teams on billing accuracy, cost control, monthly accruals and network optimization.

Responsible for all EHSS/ISO/ Trade compliances and audits pertaining to outbound operations.

Communicate with customs office and execute on any FTA / COO requirements from customers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership and manage Logistics Service Provider (LSP) members to ensure stable inbound logistics, warehouse operations, interplant, outbound logistics.
  • Manage and work with LSP to ensure timely clearance of inbound operations to warehouse receipts and timely execution of outbound operations to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure accurate billing to customer by updating accurate shipment details and ensure that DT1P (Delivery to first promise) target is met. Provide sustainable solutions to ensure we meet customers' satisfaction.
  • Responsible for outbound management and ensure interfaces are promptly updated in SAP system and flow smoothly all the way to shipment creation and shipment cost update.
  • Worked with stakeholders and customs on FTA and COO requirements.
  • Manage LSP – BPO team and provide SOPs and training pertaining to outbound and ensure that the team adhere to compliances and has proper filing documentation for audits. Responsible for outbound compliances audits.
  • Manage the APAC-Hub for inbound activities and distribution within the region.
  • Ensures EHS / ISO / Trade activities are in placed working alongside with 3rd party LSP in collaboration with manufacturing and other stake holders.
  • Drive and ensure trade compliances is in accordance to regulatory. Monitor and control the timely loading of export documents. Ensure accuracy is met by LSP.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor degree of Supply Chain Management or Logistics
  • At least 7 years experience in Supply Chain operation
  • At least 3 years responsibility for managing logistics personnel and 3PL vendors
  • Logistics / Customs Operations / Trade compliance Experience
  • Previous work experience of working on process improvements
  • Good understanding of manufacturing process, 3PL operations, cross border movement of goods, global trade compliance and supply chain process.
  • Strong process improvement background with an emphasis on leveraging SAP ERP platforms to implement lean methodologies.
  • Proven experience leading cost savings initiatives and communicating cost savings achievements.
  • Demonstrated success in a metrics-oriented environment and an ability to create, track, and report out on metrics
  • Good team management skills and a team player.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and coordination skills with proven ability to influence multi levels in the organization
  • Effective people and performance management, coaching and feedback skills
  • Strong Analytics; Proven ability to improve metrics through strong analytics and project leadership
  • Strong process & project management skills.
  • Computer skills essential, MS Office, ERP (SAP knowledge is a strong preference)
