Job Description

• Independent and experienced lighting designer
• Able to complete projects independently in all project stages from conceptualization, design through to commissioning
• Able to lead, guide and inspire the junior designers to completing the tasks
• Co-ordinate and follow up on projects to ensure they are completed on time
• Lead in design conceptualization/ planning for lighting design proposals with collaboration with other collaborators such as architects, interior designers, landscape designers, etc
• Prepare presentation materials, tender drawings, mock-ups, site coordination, meetings.
• Ensure all project documentation are maintained to a level as required by the Company’s quality standards
• Constantly provide high quality service and creative solutions to clients to strengthen client loyalty and gain repeat business
• Able to communicate clearly, technically with clients/ contractors and suppliers on the requirements and solution
• Able to travel independently for work to serve the projects in the region

Job Requirement

• Min degree in Interior Design, Architecture or equivalent spatial design discipline
• Min 8 years experience in lighting design, in an independant lighting design practice
• Possess high level of communication skills (verbal & written) and able to interact with people of different background
• Able to converse and write fluently in English.
• Ability to think creatively and come up with original ideas for the projects
• Resourceful and attentive to detail
• An excellent team player and leader who is highly motivated and committed, hands-on
• Must be familiar with Autocad, Indesign & Photoshop, sketchup and microsoft office
• Knowledge in Revit/Dialux will be an added advantage
