Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead coordination of lighting projects from design to execution, ensuring timelines, quality, and technical compliance.
• Prepare lighting layouts, Dialux simulations, technical drawings, and documentation for project proposals and execution.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Provide technical support and advice on lighting products and solutions based on project requirements.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of lighting and basic lighting control systems.
• Prepare quotations, cost breakdowns, and material specifications for lighting projects.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including supplier liaison, pricing, delivery schedules, and cost control.
• Act as a technical point of contact for clients during project execution and address technical issues as required.
• Conduct presentations or meetings to explain lighting concepts and solutions when needed.
• Maintain proper project documentation, records, and reporting on project status.
• Guide and support junior team members on lighting drawings, simulations, and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, coordination, and documentation processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Willing to travel regionally for project coordination when required.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements

Education and Qualification Requirements

• Professional Certificate/ NiTec, Diploma, Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, Product Design or related fields.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in lighting projects, electrical solutions, or related technical roles.
• Experience coordinating lighting projects from proposal to completion.
• Exposure to lighting sales, automation, or control systems is an advantage but not mandatory.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements

• Proficient in Dialux and AutoCAD for lighting design and simulations.
• Good understanding of lighting products, specifications, and applications.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes and cost coordination in lighting projects.

• Class 3A Driving License preferred.
