Job summary

A financial technology consultancy in Singapore is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead Java application development. The role requires expertise in Oracle and control-M job creation, along with mentoring junior team members. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• At least 6 years’ relevant experience preferably in a Finance Institution.
• Minimum 10 years of Java application development experience (experience with Java 8 is a plus).
• Proficient with Batch & Power Shell scripting.
• Good understanding in Data Warehouse and Data Mart concepts.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and develop projects/Change Requests and ensure deliverables quality.
• Participate in user requirements gathering, impact analysis, and estimation.
• Develop functionalities to meet business requirements using Java and Oracle.
• Design and build Control-M jobs for batch processing.
• Support the UAT cycle, troubleshoot issues, and provide bug fixes.
