Job description
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.

  • Conduct background checks and reference verifications.

  • Manage new-hire onboarding, orientation, and documentation.

2. HR Operations & Administration
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS or internal systems.

  • Handle employee lifecycle documentation (appointment letters, confirmations, transfers, exits).

  • Assist in payroll inputs — attendance, leaves, overtime, incentives, etc.

  • Oversee employee attendance, leave management, and shift schedules.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement
  • Address employee queries and grievances professionally.

  • Conduct employee engagement activities, events, and surveys.

  • Support initiatives that promote a healthy workplace environment.

4. Performance Management
  • Coordinate annual and mid-year performance review cycles.

  • Assist in goal setting, appraisal tracking, and documentation.

  • Work with managers on performance improvement plans (PIPs) when required.

5. Training & Development
  • Identify training needs by coordinating with department heads.

  • Organize internal/external training sessions or workshops.

  • Track training outcomes and maintain training records.

6. Compliance & Policy Management
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

  • Assist in drafting, updating, and implementing HR policies.

  • Handle statutory documentation (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, etc.) with compliance accuracy.

7. Exit Management
  • Manage resignation/termination processes, exit interviews, and documentation.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders for full & final settlement.

  • Analyse attrition trends and suggest improvements.
