The Senior Data & Analytics Health Specialist has a unique opportunity to shape the development of two of Amplify Health’s most impactful solutions, Corporate Insights Studio and Risk & Opportunity. The Position
Summary

As a Senior Data & Analytics Health Specialist, you will be responsible for developing the analytic vision of our Corporate Insights Studio and Risk & Opportunity offerings, as well as leading a team of data scientists and engineers in executing that vision, aligning to the productisation strategy of Amplify Health.

This role sits within the Data & Analytics team and is a vital link between technical expertise and product development. It requires co-ordination between product management, tech, commercial and data science leads to ensure development of best of breed analytical products.

Responsibilities
  • Understanding the health analytical landscape to inform the product development process, identifying areas in which data and analytics can enhance and support the product offering for a competitive advantage
  • Assist product owners in formulation of the product solution road map by engaging with both commercial and technical stakeholders, balancing complexity and feasibility of build relative to client value and market requirements
  • Lead the conceptualisation, design, and maintenance of the analytical architecture and product specifications, for both internal and external visibility. This involves collaboration and co-ordination with technical experts and stakeholders across the business
  • Oversight of product delivery outcomes and planning by working with our market leads, delivery teams, and project managers
  • Creation of internal and external documentation, including assistance in marketing material and presentations, demonstrating technical knowledge, client value and customer journeys
  • Communication across the organisation from staff to executive level.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Proven success developing healthcare analytics products, especially with large amounts of data in cloud environments. Experience in the areas of cost and utilization metrics, benefit design and optimization, and population health management preferred.
  • Leadership of end-to-end product design process from ideation to delivery and maintenance
  • Knowledge of core healthcare data standards and clinical tools including coders, groupers, and classifications, as well as an interest in emerging AI technologies
  • Experience leading teams, ideally including off-shore team members
  • Ability to take client and internal feedback to improved delivery and convert into champions
  • Rigorous ability to problem-solve and to continually improve teams, including via Agile.
