Job Description / Requirements
  • Degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Min 3-5 years’ experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar financial role.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial statement analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis using spreadsheets and financial software (e.g., Excel, financial databases).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
1. Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Assist in the preparation of budget guidelines, assumptions, and templates.
  • Review and analyze budget proposals, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Monitor budget performance, prepare variance reports, and explain deviations.
2. Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Gather and analyze financial data to assess performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Prepare financial reports, including budget vs. actuals, variance analysis, and KPIs.
  • Monitor financial metrics such as profitability and liquidity, and recommend improvements.
  • Manage Capex process including budget, commitment, and actual tracking with variance analysis.
  • Support cash flow management.
3. Financial Modelling and Decision Support
  • Build financial models for strategic initiatives, investments, and scenario analysis.
  • Evaluate the financial feasibility and ROI of new projects.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
4. Financial Systems and Process Improvement
  • Collaborate to improve financial systems and processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Participate in system implementation and testing.
5. Other ad hoc duties as assigned
