Job summary

A finance-focused organization based in Singapore is seeking an experienced finance professional to oversee accounts, manage audits, and ensure compliance and governance. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of relevant experience in finance, particularly in family office or fund management, with strong skills in statutory audits and financial reporting. A bachelor’s degree in related fields, along with professional qualifications, is preferred.

Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee full sets of accounts for group entities, funds and investment holding structures
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
  • Manage cash flow planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Review accounting treatments for investment transactions and complex structures
Audit & Tax
  • Lead statutory audits and act as the primary point of contact with external auditors
  • Prepare audit schedules and manage audit timelines to ensure on-time completion
  • Coordinate tax compliance matters including corporate tax, GST and withholding tax
  • Liaise with tax advisors on structuring, filings and tax efficiency matters
Compliance, Legal & Governance
  • Support regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to fund management / family office structures
  • Work closely with external legal counsel and corporate secretarial providers on entity setup, governance and documentation
  • Review and support finance-related legal agreements, shareholder resolutions and board matters
  • Maintain strong internal controls and compliance frameworks
Stakeholder Management
  • Partner senior management on finance, governance and operational matters
  • Coordinate with fund administrators, banks and external service providers

Support management reporting and ad-hoc analysis as required

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred
  • 10–15 years of relevant experience in finance, audit or accounting
  • Prior experience in family office, fund management, asset management or financial services is strongly preferred

  • Working knowledge of legal, compliance and corporate governance matters
  • Able to work independently in a lean environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
