Responsibilities
- Oversee the development, implementation, and execution of policies and processes related to payments, payroll, and credit control to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
- Establish and maintain robust financial policies and procedures to achieve targeted financial outcomes and support overall business objectives.
- Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue and related accruals in compliance with accounting standards.
- Strengthen internal controls by identifying potential financial risks and developing effective mitigation strategies.
- Lead initiatives to transform finance operations, ensuring adherence to corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Manage payroll budgeting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organisational needs.
- Drive the implementation and optimisation of new financial reporting systems, including SAP or other relevant platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, gained in a commercial environment or a reputable professional services firm.
- Strong technical expertise in financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse complex financial data and present clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with SAP and other financial reporting tools is highly advantageous.
