Job summary

A technology firm in Singapore is seeking a finance manager to oversee financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in accounting, strong knowledge of IFRS, and proficiency in financial reporting and Excel. This role involves reporting directly to the Group CFO and managing a small team. Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and SFRS.

• Reporting to the Group CFO
• Compiling financial data, creating reports and analyzing the financial health of the company
• Planning and coordinating annual audits and tax filing, resolving audit findings
• Ensuring financial controls and compliance and submission deadlines
• Overseeing the finance department, including personnel matters for department managers
• Enforcing policies and procedures that keep the company in compliance with financial regulations

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 8 years of accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, group consolidation, tax and audit etc, preferably 1-2 years in a managing small teams (e.g. 1-2 persons)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS (preferred) and SFRS and accounting for financial instruments and products
• Exposure in financial services preferred
• Proficient in financial reporting and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
