Role Summary
The Senior Executive – HR (Recruitment & Employee Relations) leads full-cycle recruitment activities for all clinical and non-clinical positions, drives talent attraction initiatives, and ensures a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. The role maintains the organisation’s Job Description repository, manages recruitment partnerships, and supports internal mobility processes.
In addition, the position handles employee relations matters including retention discussions, mental health initiatives, employee concerns, and documentation of employment changes. The incumbent plays a critical role in ensuring timely staffing, maintaining a strong candidate pipeline, and supporting a positive workplace environment aligned with Beecroft’s values.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Operations (Lead Area)
- Manage end-to-end recruitment including scheduling interviews, conducting HR interviews, and supporting hiring managers.
- Lead offer discussions, salary negotiations, and issuance of employment contracts.
- Coordinate education checks, reference checks, and employment verification.
- Manage visa applications, work pass submissions, and veterinary licence applications.
- Serve as primary HR contact for all candidate queries.
2. Job Description Repository & Position Approvals
- Maintain a central repository of Job Descriptions.
- Ensure updated and approved JDs are available for hiring cycles.
- Work with hiring managers to develop or refine JDs for new roles.
3. Recruitment Marketing & Outreach
- Use LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook, Instagram and other platforms for recruitment outreach.
- Create recruitment content and campaigns.
- Explore sourcing platforms and improve talent acquisition strategies.
4. Onboarding & New Hire Experience
- Coordinate onboarding activities including scrubs issuance, name tag creation, and Infotech registration.
- Ensure all P-file documentation and onboarding forms are completed.
- Conduct HR onboarding briefings.
5. University & Early Talent Engagement
- Manage partnerships with universities for externships and internship hiring.
- Participate in career fairs and outreach programmes.
- Build early talent pipelines for Vet, Nurse, and PCA roles.
6. Recruitment Partner Management
- Liaise with recruitment agencies for critical hiring.
- Manage agency communication, candidate submissions, and agreements.
7. Employee Records & Documentation
- Create and maintain employee P-files with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support documentation for hiring, transfers, and employment changes.
8. Employee Relations & Mental Health Support
- Support mental health and wellbeing initiatives.
- Provide first-level advisory for employee concerns.
- Escalate cases requiring further support to HR Manager.
9. Internal Mobility & Department Transfers
- Coordinate internal transfers and role changes.
- Support employees seeking internal career progression.
10. Replacement Hiring & Workforce Continuity
- Manage hiring required due to resignations, terminations, or employment status changes.
- Ensure timely recruitment to minimise manpower gaps.
11. Retention, Exit Discussions & Negotiations
- Conduct retention conversations, especially for Nurses and PCAs.
- Analyse resignation reasons and recommend improvements.
- Support exit interviews and documentation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- SHRM, IHRP, CIPD or other HR certifications are advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years HR recruitment experience.
- Experience in healthcare or veterinary industry preferred.
- Strong track record managing recruitment cycles independently.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Knowledge of Singapore employment regulations, MOM work pass requirements, and recruitment compliance.
- Strong sourcing skills across multiple platforms.
- Effective interviewing and candidate assessment capability.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS systems.
- Strong drafting and documentation skills.
