Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Group Marketing Excellence (Fresh) to support the execution of impactful shopper marketing campaigns and programs for our Fresh and Frozen portfolio. You will help activate integrated marketing strategies across consumer touchpoints – from pre‑store engagement to in‑store experience and post‑purchase – to drive shopper conversion, increase basket value, and elevate FairPrice’s leadership in Fresh.

This role involves collaboration with internal stakeholders (Products, Channels, and Customer divisions) and external partners (agencies, local suppliers, and government bodies) to coordinate campaign rollouts and support category‑led marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in executing omnichannel marketing campaigns across in‑store, digital, and social platforms
  • Ensure timely coordination with agencies for creative development and production
  • Support major festive campaigns and fresh category storytelling initiatives
  • Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Products, and Channel Operations teams
  • Liaise with external vendors and partners (agencies, local suppliers, government stakeholders)
  • Execute store‑level activations and POSM installations
  • Support format reinvention efforts with curated product storytelling and customer experience enhancements
  • Consolidate campaign performance data and support Medallia survey management
  • Use insights and shopper research to recommend improvements for campaign effectiveness
  • Assist in preparing shopper‑facing content for print and digital marketing
  • Ensure communications reflect category priorities and consumer insights
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
  • 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in Marketing, with a strong preference for candidates from the retail, FMCG, or business related to fresh produce sectors.
  • Solid exposure to shopper marketing, campaign execution, and coordinating with creative/media agencies across multiple touchpoints (in‑store, digital, social).
  • Proven ability to work cross‑functionally in a dynamic and matrixed environment, collaborating with commercial, operations, and product teams.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple priorities with attention to detail and ownership of deliverables.
  • Proficiency in G Suite, especially Google Sheets (data analysis, reporting dashboards) and Google Slides (presentation decks, campaign reviews).
  • Strong command of consumer and shopper behaviour trends, with the ability to translate insights into actionable communication and activation plans.
  • Familiarity with point‑of‑sale materials, store activations, and the mechanics of running successful campaigns in‑store and online.
  • Preferably someone who enjoys cooking or has a strong interest in food – especially in fresh ingredients. This allows for better empathy with home cooks and food‑loving shoppers, and helps in creating more authentic, relatable messaging for fresh grocery campaigns.

Note: This is a 1 Year Contract with an Option for a 2nd Year
