Job description
Overview

As a key member of the NHCS Quality Assurance & Risk Management team, you will play a vital role in advancing clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be supporting strategic quality priorities through data analytics, reporting regularly to management committees, and collaborating with Clinician Leads to drive Appropriate and Value-Based Care (AVBC) initiatives, including Value-Driven Care and Choosing Wisely programmes.

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and communication skills who can work independently and in a team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and action-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities whilst maintaining meticulous attention to detail. You are required to engage confidently with clinicians, cross-departmental colleagues, and senior management while supporting quality initiatives, audits, and committee work. Your ability to work with limited supervision, handle competing deadlines, and demonstrate tactful interpersonal skills will be essential for success in this role.

The selected candidate will be offered employment on 2-year renewable contractual terms.

Job Requirements
  • Degree in Biological Science, Applied Science or any other degrees in healthcare
  • Background in Statistics / charting / data is preferred
  • Experience in healthcare preferred but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (M365)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data cleaning, analysis, statistics and visualisation
  • Knowledge of Tableau, R, SPSS, and UIPath, while not essential, will be advantageous
