Qualifications

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the installation, commissioning and acceptance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations in site.
• Project coordinator to interface with the other teams to support new area, expansion and upgrading of all infrastructure supporting the plant facilities
• Responsible for equipment relocation and removal of existing and installation of new equipment
• Arrange vendors to carry out site assessments prior to the receiving / installation of laboratory equipment to ascertain what services and what capacity of said services are required to hook-up new machines
• Ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of all facility infrastructure, which will include but not limited to Specialized Clean room HVAC systems, Ultra-pure water systems, vacuum and compressed air systems, specialist gases and critical mechanical, electrical & plumbing control systems
• Conduct regular inspections of plant facilities, initiate corrective measures to maintain a secure, safe and healthy work environment
• Carry out cost saving and sustainability initiatives
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to implement energy-saving measures
• Formulate and implement operating procedures to ensure optimum operation of system
• Undertake ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities or Building services Engineering
• Registered SCEM (Singapore Certified Energy Manager) is an advantage
• Min 2 years’ experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment preferred
