Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in MEP design or technical consultancy on Building projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the MEP portion of due diligence reviews for diverse real estate assets.
  • Assess design integrity, system performance, regulatory compliance, and operational risks.
  • Conduct in-depth inspections and technical assessments of MEP systems.
  • Identify lifecycle issues and recommend upgrade, maintenance, or optimisation strategies.
  • Support clients with actionable sustainability initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with local codes and statutory requirements for MEP systems.
  • Advise on compliance gaps and risk management measures.
  • Provide guidance on maintenance, asset renewal, and upgrades.
  • Prepare professional reports and present findings confidently.
  • Contribute to expanding the firm's MEP advisory service.

Job Description
  • Lead the MEP portion of due diligence reviews for diverse real estate assets.
  • Assess design integrity, system performance, regulatory compliance, and operational risks.
  • Conduct in‑depth inspections and technical assessments of MEP systems.
  • Identify lifecycle issues and recommend upgrade, maintenance, or optimisation strategies.
  • Support clients with actionable sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency improvements and certification alignment (e.g., Green Mark, LEED).
  • Stay up to date with local codes and statutory requirements for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Advise on compliance gaps, rectification options, and risk management measures.
  • Provide guidance on long‑term maintenance, asset renewal, and system upgrades to ensure efficiency and resilience.
  • Prepare professional, concise reports and confidently present findings to clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Contribute to expanding the firm's MEP advisory service, supporting client relationships, proposals, and pipeline development.
The Successful Applicant
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Green Mark Assessor or equivalent sustainability certification preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in MEP design, or technical consultancy on Building projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
