Job summary

A leading engineering services company in Singapore seeks an Experienced Designer specializing in electrical and I&C disciplines. The role involves conducting site visits, preparing deliverables, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. Candidates must be Singaporeans or PR holders, with a strong understanding of wiring schemes and low voltage systems. The position offers an opportunity to work on key projects in the Oil and Gas industry.

Qualifications

• Experienced Designer with knowledge of design stages and deliverables of electrical and I&C disciplines.
• Should be able to prepare and review all I&E design deliverables independently.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards applicable to O&G / Chemical plants.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visit for collecting inputs and prepare site visit reports.
• Resolve construction feedback and RFI related issues for issued deliverables.
• Defining scope of work and estimation of engineering hours requirement.

Job description

Experienced Designer with knowledge of design stages and design deliverables of electrical and I&C disciplines

Conduct site visit for collecting inputs and prepare site visit reports.

Knowledge of preparation and review of electrical deliverables like single line diagrams , Plans/lay out , Section details, Electrical Tray and conduit layout, Trench layout, Schematic diagrams and wiring diagrams.

Should be able to prepare and review all I&E design deliverables independently in compliance with Quality System

Resolve construction feedback and RFI related issues for issued deliverables

Familiarity with relevant codes and standards applicable to O&G / Chemical plants ( Exxon Mobil standards preferred)

Experience of Participation in Model Review and Squad Check process shall have preference

Defining scope of work and estimation of engineering hours requirement for design deliverables

Knowledge of instrument installation practices and standard, construction sequence and requirements, access and egress related requirements

Should have basic knowledge of wiring schemes for ESD/DCS and RTU/SCADA applicable to O&G / Chemical plants

Understanding of Low Voltage Electrical Systems, Gas detection system , cable separation requirement is desirable.

Familiarity with instrumentation and process control design for Oil and Gas industry
