Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Editor / Editor to join our Chinese News division. You will work closely with the Chief Editor to uphold content quality and journalistic excellence across TV, radio, and digital platforms.

This role offers the opportunity to shape impactful stories, guide newsroom standards, and engage audiences in meaningful ways.

Responsibilities
  • Review and vet editorial content across television, radio, and digital platforms to ensure accuracy, objectivity, and timeliness
  • Collaborate with the Chief Editor to plan and implement audience engagement and training initiatives for the Chinese News division
  • Manage special editorial projects and cross-platform initiatives as assigned by the Chief Editor
  • Uphold Mediacorp's editorial values, ensuring all content meets the highest standards of integrity and relevance
  • Build and maintain strong connections with key figures and newsmakers in the Chinese-speaking community
  • Work closely with newsroom teams and colleagues across Mediacorp to ensure smooth coordination and collaboration
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Mass Communication, Journalism, or a related field with minimum 7 years of relevant experience in journalism, broadcasting, or media production
  • Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese, with strong proficiency in English
