Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of data center projects, ensuring technical oversight and integration with site conditions.

• Define and implement Basis of Design (BoD) standards with stakeholders.

• Conduct site evaluations, including capacity and feasibility assessments, during early due diligence.

• Guide consultants, engineers, and contractors to meet design, cost, and operational goals.

• Support budget development and cost planning in the pre-construction phase.

• Develop scopes of work, evaluate proposals, and manage consultant/contractor onboarding.

• Oversee design and construction lifecycle, ensuring performance, safety, and compliance.

• Monitor consultant and contractor performance across multiple markets for timely delivery.

• Coordinate with investment, development, and construction teams across geographies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Extensive experience designing and delivering data center projects.

• Hands‑on experience in site due diligence, campus planning, and critical environment design.

• Strong knowledge of Uptime Institute Tier principles and industry standards.

• Familiar with construction safety and safety‑in‑design practices.

• Proven ability to manage technical design and delivery from concept through commissioning.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross‑border teams.

• Willingness to travel internationally for project coordination and site evaluations.
