A leading offshore engineering firm in Singapore seeks an experienced drafter to develop integrated 3D models and manage various technical drawings. The role requires a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in offshore projects, preferably with FSO/FPSO conversions. Proficiency in AutoCAD and similar platforms is essential. The successful candidate will collaborate with construction teams and may be required to work on-site in China during the project construction phase.
To develop and review of Integrated 3D model and view files, model management plan, GA drawings (FSO hull, topsides, accommodation), fire zone and escape route drawings, hazardous are plans, PFD, P&ID, Piping arrangements, isometrics, supports, spool packs, cable tray and penetration schedules, deck outfitting drawings, F&G Mapping, etc.
To develop and maintain drawing registers, revision logs, transmittals; class submission sets, as‑built drawings. To develop 3-D line and surface models from 2-D PDF drawings for structural, piping and other analysis.
To review of shipyards and Vendors detailed drawings/technical packages and resolving Client/Class review comments. To run clash checks and model reviews, issue action lists and track closure; support model extracts forvendor packages. Knowledge of materials selection for piping, valves, fittings based on process fluid and design parameters.
Collaborate with other team members specifically construction team members in resolving all design/drafting issues, interfacing with the Shipyard as needed during the construction and as-built drawings preparation. Deputation in Shipyard in China will be required during the project construction phase.
Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Drafting/CAD/EngineeringTechnology or equivalent.
