We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior control & Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in control panel design, system integration, and automation solutions for critical equipment in the oil & gas, marine, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and engineer control systems for:
- (a) Generator Control Panels (synchronization, load sharing, paralleling control
- (b) Compressor Control Panels
- (c) Fire Water Pump Control Systems
- (d) Motor Control Centres (MCC) & Distribution boards
- Develop and prepare engineering deliverables such as:
- (a) System architecture diagrams network architecture and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, etc.)
- (b) General Arrangement (GA) drawings
- (c) Control & Power Schematics
- (d) Power distribution calculations
- Involve in PLC/DCS programming, HMI configuration, and system FAT / SAT activities.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, client specifications, and cybersecurity requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for procurement, panel fabrication, and site commissioning.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution and commissioning stages.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Automation Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in automation systems for oil & gas, offshore, or industrial plants.
- Strong knowledge in generator synchronization, load sharing, and control system logic.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / EPLAN for electrical design.
- Hands‑on experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, etc.).
- Familiarity with IEC / API / ATEX standards and cybersecurity compliance is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
