About the Role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence across assigned countries. This role combines strategic planning, market analysis, and hands-on relationship management to identify new opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and deliver business objectives aligned with BT Global’s regional growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Market Development
  • Develop and execute regional business growth strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and untapped opportunities.
2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, and clients across the region.
  • Support Business Development Head with commercial agreements, partnerships, and joint ventures.
  • Serve as the primary contact for daily day to day sales and marketing, project management activities with major accounts, managing partners’ relationship growth and retention.
3. Revenue & Pipeline Management
  • Achieve regional sales and revenue targets through a structured business development plan.
  • Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline forecast using CRM tools.
4. Cross-Border Collaboration
  • Coordinate regional campaigns, events, and client engagement initiatives. This role requires the incumbent to travel to Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, China, India etc.
5. Reporting & Performance Tracking
  • Provide regular market and performance reports for senior management.
  • Analyse KPIs and adjust strategies to optimise outcomes.
Key Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in business development, sales, or partnership management, preferably in a regional or multi-market role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and securing large-scale partnerships.
