A prominent business consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to bridge organizational goals with technology solutions. The role involves leading requirement gathering, creating process documentation, and mentoring junior analysts. Candidates should have over 5 years of business analysis experience, with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. The Senior Business Analyst serves as a key link between organisational goals and technology-driven solutions. This role involves evaluating complex business operations, uncovering improvement opportunities, and producing practical insights that contribute to overall business performance. The successful candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in business analysis, strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams within a fast-moving environment.
Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements for major initiatives and strategic programmes.
Work closely with stakeholders to assess business needs and challenges, translating them into well‑defined, actionable requirements.
Create process flows, user stories, and workflow diagrams to support solution development and implementation efforts.
Perform gap assessments and propose process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Facilitate requirement‑gathering activities, including workshops, interviews, and working sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
Partner with project managers, development teams, and quality assurance to maintain alignment and ensure successful solution delivery.
Develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and business cases for senior leaders and key stakeholders.
Provide mentorship and direction to junior analysts, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing across the team.
Keep abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and evolving business analysis methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in business analysis or a comparable role, including a minimum of 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities in a high‑paced environment.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical reasoning skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience presenting to senior management.
Proficiency in business analysis tools such as Visio, Jira, and Confluence, as well as data visualisation tools including Power BI or Tableau.
Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or other delivery methodologies is highly advantageous.
Professional certifications such as CBAP or PMI‑PBA are considered a plus.
