Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced BMS Engineer to handle detailed engineering design and site supervision for BMS installations. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with 5–7 years of experience in the field. Key responsibilities include supervising installations, conducting testing, and liaising with teams. Applicants should be familiar with ACMV and M&E systems, and be ready to work on-site at Tuas with transport provided from designated MRT stations.

Qualifications

Job description

The role involves detailed engineering design, site coordination, and supervision of BMS installation, testing, and commissioning works. The candidate will also provide technical support to ensure seamless integration of BMS with ACMV, electrical, and other M&E systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out detailed engineering design, system configurations, and shop drawing preparation for BMS works.
  • Supervise and coordinate BMS installation, wiring, and system integration on site.
  • Conduct testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning of BMS systems.
  • Ensure all BMS works comply with project specifications, design standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Prepare technical documentation, progress reports, and operation manuals.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and site technicians.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Automation, or related field.
  • At least 5–7 years of experience in BMS engineering, including design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of BMS system architecture, PLC/DCC controllers, networking, and system integration.
  • Familiarity with ACMV and M&E systems in building or industrial projects.
  • Proficient in BMS software platforms and engineering tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on-site at Tuas.
  • Willingness to work at Tuas area with transportation pickup at designated MRT station.
